I traveled the world for 10 years digital nomad style, and built a few businesses while doing it. I lived in Thailand, Colombia, and Brazil, and touched foot in 40+ countries.
I love to explore new lands and meet new people.

In 2025 my wife and I sold our stuff, left our home in Florianopolis, Brazil, and travelled through 21 countries. Then we decided to move to a small farm town in Illinois, USA, to settle down and start a family. Next adventure here we go! 🤠

The Business Side

My primary business right now is Automator Apps. We specialize in automated solutions for Shopify stores and have 2 apps in the Shopify app store.

I started as a freelance web developer in 2010, around the same time I had a shift into an entrepreneurial mindset. My goal at that time was to be self employed and travel the world, working from home.

By 2012 I was also doing SEO and online marketing. My mindset was to explore various online skills to build a strong foundation and make a living while sharpening my skills.

From 2010 to 2014 I was doing freelance work for clients during the day, and bartending at night while living in San Diego then New York City.

Then I sold almost everything I owned and bought a 1 way ticket to Thailand, and left the US on January 5th, 2015.

Since then I've launched various projects, sold 2 businesses and 2 apps, and learned a ton. Here's a list of my projects.

The Artist Side

I started drawing here and there in 2022 after selling my business, the initial idea was to be more creative and explore art.

In 2023 I bought an iPad with dreams to create characters and make cartoons.

To get better I set a goal in November 2023 to draw every day for a year. That was fun!

Shortly after completing that 365 day quest I started posting on Instagram @lucidcharacters.

I also bought a drum synthesizer, speakers, and a midi keyboard to make beats and goof around with friends. I haven't published anything yet, but it's a really good time.

Creative Goals

  • Find the time to draw more and make music
  • Make comics and animated shorts
  • Open an online store... to at least make fun t-shirts for me 😃
  • Build a music studio and make an album
  • Start a podcast to stay connected with my global community
